A day in the life...
The landscape of the West Midlands is changing quickly .Audiences Central as, the audience development agency for the West Midlands, want to ensure that we understand what this means for the arts and cultural organisations that we work with.
Whilst embarking on the journey during delivering The World In One Region, we leaned how important it was to keep revisiting and refreshing our understanding in regards to established and new communities. We want to take you on that journey as well. Ultimately we hope that we've been able to convey all the positive elements that make the West Midlands a great place to live, work and enjoy arts and cultural activity.
This publication is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to all the different cultures in our region, it's more of an initial resource that provides an insight to a day in the real lives of a few people.

Who’s it for?
Any one who wants an introduction to the identified communities that make up the West Midlands. This document can be used a resource to enable and provide individuals from arts and cultural organisations a starting point when engaging with diverse communities.
How it can be used?
We would like individuals to use it in the most useful way for them. This may mean reading it from beginning to end, or looking at the statistic first or it may be looking at the images. Each way will provide an insight to how an individual feels about living in the West Midlands today.
The publication is aimed at people working in arts marketing and audience development in an arts and cultural setting and aims to be a practical resource to provide an introduction to information and insights allowing organisations to get a bit closer to some of their identified target communities.
