The aim of the World in One Region Photography Competition was to source a series of ‘fly on the wall’ photographs that would help build up a detailed and honest picture of day to day life of ethnically diverse communities from across the West Midlands region and to visually support the research project.  

The winning photographs were selected by a panel of judges and displayed for a week long exhibition in the BBC Mailbox and BBC Big Screen.
